Somebody's having a good Pet Parent's Day!

If you’ve been to the RIESTER offices, then you know how much we love dogs. So four years ago, we were thrilled when our client Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) decided to create an innovative holiday to celebrate pet owners for the love, energy, and time they put into their pets. These devoted ‘Pet Parents’ expect nothing but love in return, and with that National Pet Parent’s Day was created as a way of saying to pet owners, ‘Thank you for all you do.’ Each year Pet Parent’s are encouraged to celebrate the special day with a free customizable Pet Parent’s Day e-card at www.PetParentsDay.com.

This year, VPI has partnered with American Greetings, the leading manufacturer of innovative social expression products to enhance their e-cards and further expand the message to Pet Parents everywhere. Beginning March 15 and extending through the month of April, visitors to www.PetParentsDay.com can send an American Greetings e-card to the pet owners in their lives who consider four-legged friends a part of the family. Senders can personalize the pet-themed e-card by adding a photo and either entering a suggested greeting or composing a message recognizing their favorite pet parents for all the selfless hours of baths, belly rubs, and trips to the veterinarian. After personalizing their e-card, senders can decide whether to have the card delivered immediately or on April 17, Pet Parent’s Day. Senders and recipients will also be able to share the finished pet parent e-card with family and friends on Facebook!
