RIESTER's Scott Morehead.

“We conducted an extensive national search to find a media leadership professional with tremendous experience in digital media as well as traditional broadcast, print and outdoor media,” said RIESTER CEO Tim Riester. “Scott has all the expertise RIESTER’s clients need, plus his competitive spirit and approachable personality is a perfect match for RIESTER’s culture.”

Morehead has a deep understanding of how to maximize media dollars spent in today’s fast changing environment. “Today’s media reality is that the traditional interruption model has lost impact,” Morehead said. “We craft custom communication solutions for our clients that put strategic and creative communications in front of the best potential audience when and where it is relevant to their purchase consideration journey.”

He has experience in all categories of RIESTER’s client business including: financial services, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, energy, gaming, tourism, education and quick serve restaurants. Morehead has worked on media campaigns for clients including: H.J. RIESTER delivers a clean design for Clean Air.

Maricopa County’s Clean Air brand recently became more visible with the unveiling of the Air Quality Department’s new office. Working with a team of graphic and interior designers, RIESTER developed a look that is, itself, clean. The space features an illuminated wall that glows in accordance with the color-coded air quality grade; a glass table that floats on the letters “AIR;” and an entire wall made out of 100% bamboo paper pulp. The sustainable design aligns perfectly with the Department’s “Clean Air Make More” campaign.

Greenbuild is in Phoenix. Tom Ortega is leading the way.

Greenbuild, the largest conference in the world dedicated to promoting sustainable construction and design, is in Phoenix this week. My business partner and RIESTER’s Executive Creative Director, Tom Ortega, was featured on ABC News last night discussing sustainable building design. Ortega used his soon to be built home as an example of a way to live that lightens his family’s footprint.

Sustainability communications is an area of expertise for RIESTER and is especially relevant this week with Greenbuild Conference in Phoenix. Ortega is not only leading by example as he prepares to break ground on his family’s home, he is also a leader in creating campaigns that effectively communicate why it is important and necessary to live lives with sustainability in mind. His new home will be powered with solar electricity, he will be harvesting rainwater on his property and the home will be built with sustainable materials.

Sustainability is more than a buzz word. We all must adopt more sustainable lifestyles if we hope to pass on a healthy and prosperous world to our children and grandchildren.

HERDEZ sponsors gathering of Latina women in Phoenix.

The 24th Annual Hispanic Women’s Conference here in Phoenix is in full swing. This national event highlights the dreams, struggles and accomplishments of Latinas in America.  The Hispanic Women’s Conference is the largest gathering of Latinas in the nation. The conference motivates and educates Hispanic women from across the nation addressing key topics in the areas of professional development, personal growth, wealth-building and solutions to social issues that Latinas face today.  Fittingly, the theme of this year’s conference is “Latina Power: Rising to service and change.”

Hispanics are a growing and important demographic group in the United States and Latina women have been steadily and increasingly establishing themselves in all facets of American life.  The Conference’s luncheon speaker, U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, the first Latina to serve on a president’s cabinet is a wonderful example of how Latinas’ hard work has allowed them to move into important positions of political, social and economic power and responsibility.  But the conference does much more than just highlight accomplished Latinas.   It also serves to inspire younger Latinas to follow their dreams and work toward making them a reality.  A great example of someone who is doing just that is 16 year old Toni Gutierrez, a youth leader being honored in Phoenix today and who will also speak at the luncheon.

HERDEZ, Mexico’s favorite salsa, proudly applauds the accomplishments and efforts of all Latinas to improve their lives and those of their families as well as inspire others to do the same.  To show its support, HERDEZ has elected to be the centerpiece sponsor for the scholarship benefit luncheon. The luncheon—which is sold out—is an assembly of a Who’s Who in the Hispanic community and serves as a showcase for Latina accomplishments.

HERDEZ is proud to support the Hispanic Women’s Conference.  These women are an integral and important part of American society.
