Yesterday, RIESTER Lost a Fabulous Friend and an Amazing Woman
Published on April 2, 2015
After nearly two years of courageously fighting her battle with cancer, Pam Schneider passed on peacefully yesterday morning at her home in Albuquerque with her family by her side.
Those of us at RIESTER who had the incredible pleasure of working side-by-side with Pam as the leader of our McDonald’s team will remember her intelligence, aggressiveness, creativity and commitment to always doing what was best for the business. One of my favorite quotes from Pam occurred at a Co-op meeting when I heard her say, “You need to vote yes for this, and I will stand on this table if necessary to make you do it!” Pam often did climb to great heights to convincingly make her point.
Pam led RIESTER’s McDonald’s Co-ops to the top performance in the nation during her years as our McDonald’s team leader. In fact in 2014, the Southern Idaho McDonald’s Co-op ranked #1, and the California Central Coast McDonald’s Co-op ranked #7 in the United States for overall growth. Pam’s grasp of that business was unsurpassed in our industry.
We will miss Pam’s depth of experience and competitive spirit. Most of all though, we will cherish the memories of Pam’s wise mentoring and honest friendship.
