RIESTER Wins 11 Addys for Most Diverse List of Clients

RIESTER’s category expertise stretches from consumer packaged goods and financial services…to public health and voter education…to gaming and destination marketing. Friday night at the 2019 ADDY Awards, the agency shined bright in all of these segments.

RIESTER won three gold Addys. One gold Addy for the HERDEZ Brand “Centuries” web video series, which was filmed deep in the heart of Mexico City. Another gold Addy for the Citizens Clean Elections Commission “18 in 2018” Cross-Platform Campaign. And a third gold Addy for the Citizens Clean Elections Commission Out of Home augmented reality wall mural.

RIESTER also collected three silver Addys for the Chumash Casino Resort Maserati life-size toy box display, the Citizens Clean Elections Commission website, and the animated “Vape-Ire” anti-vape video for the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Five bronze Addys were awarded to RIESTER for the MidFirst Bank “Happy” promotion series, the Chumash Casino Resort Maserati giveaway multimedia campaign, Citizens Clean Elections Commission “Countdown” video series, and two more Arizona Department of Health Services anti-vape videos.

RIESTER also cheered heartily as two of its employees were nominated for special recognition. Stevie Lobosco was named as a finalist for Young Person of the Year, and Ben Dveirin was named as a finalist for Creative Professional of the Year.

The evening was especially meaningful for RIESTER as David Robb, Tim Riester’s original partner, was posthumously honored with the 2019 J. Terry Groener Memorial Ad Person of the Year Award. Dave was a true creative giant, and the entire Phoenix advertising community celebrated his contributions Saturday evening.

Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation, the ADDYs are the nation’s largest and most representative advertising competition. The annual show attracts over 40,000 entries every year.
