Global Blood Therapeutics
Before Global Blood Therapeutics (GBT) launched Oxbryta, its breakthrough prescription medicine for Sickle Cell Disease, the biopharmaceutical pioneer engaged RIESTER to create a disease awareness campaign to educate the community about life with the disease. Because of stigma and layers of misperceptions and cultural norms, patients and their families often suffered in painful silence. To break the barriers, RIESTER worked with GBT to create Sickle Cell Speaks, a multi-media campaign providing the Sickle Cell community a platform and the patients a voice.
