Since founding RIESTER in 1989, Tim has been the firm’s CEO and chief activist. Under his leadership, RIESTER was listed on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in America for four consecutive years, Creativity Magazine listed the firm among the “20 Hottest Creative Shops in America,” and Forbes named RIESTER among the “Top 100 Global Ad Agencies That Know Social Media and Google.”
Tim is considered a knowledgeable source in the advertising field and is looked to as a national expert on developing effective social marketing campaigns. He has been used by MSNBC, Fox, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today as a source on advertising issues and as a political message analyst. Tim served as a marketing expert for the National Academy of Science in Washington DC during a two-year evaluation of societal perceptions, attitudes and behavior toward public transportation. Tim also served on a panel for the Boston University Medical Center that established guidelines for national tobacco prevention programs.
Tim was a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2000 and was chosen as “Ad Person of the Year” in 2005 by Ad2 and the Phoenix Advertising Club for his outstanding achievements and contributions to the Ad community.
